Privacy policy
The short version: we collect very little, we use it only to help your church, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.

Who we are
Open Door Church Sites is a service of TavaTrack LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company based in Massachusetts. "We" and "us" in this policy mean Open Door Church Sites. You can reach us at [email protected].
This policy covers this website, opendoorchurchsites.com, and how we handle information when churches talk with us. Church websites we host will have their own privacy notice, published before the first one goes live.
When you visit this website
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers. We don't use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or visitor analytics. Our fonts and images are served from our own site.
- Our host sees basic technical information. Like every website, ours runs on a hosting provider, Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Do Not Track. Because we don't track you across websites, a browser's "Do Not Track" signal doesn't change anything here.
When you contact us
The "Request a free draft" and "Tell us about your church" forms don't send anything to us by themselves. They open your own email program with a message filled in, so you can review it and choose whether to send it. If you send it, or if you email, call or leave us a voicemail, we receive what you share: usually your name, your role, your church's name, your email address, your phone number, links to your church's pages, and your message.
We use it to reply to you, to prepare the free draft you asked for, and, if your church signs up, to build and look after your website.
Church information from public sources
To find churches that might want our help, we look at information churches have made public, such as their websites, Google listings and Facebook pages. We note things like the church's name, address, public phone number, public email address and public web pages, and we use them only to contact the church one-to-one about our service.
If you'd rather we didn't contact your church, tell us by phone, email or reply and we'll stop. We keep a short note of that request so we don't contact you again by mistake.
Drafts we prepare
When a church asks for a free draft, we build it from the church's public information and whatever the church sends us. Drafts aren't linked from our site or listed in search engines, and we share them only with the church that asked. Facts we couldn't confirm are marked "please confirm" so nothing wrong goes live.
We use AI tools to help us write and assemble drafts and website updates from the information you give us. We review the result before it reaches you, and we don't use these tools to make decisions about you.
Who we share information with
We never sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only with the providers we use to run the business, and only so they can do that work for us:
- Cloudflare: hosting this website, and forwarding email sent to our address.
- Google: our email inbox (Gmail).
- AI providers: helping us prepare drafts and updates, as described above.
We don't take payments yet. Before we do, we'll name our payment provider here. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information we hold.
How long we keep it
- Conversations with churches that don't become customers: deleted within 12 months of our last contact, unless you ask us to keep talking.
- "Please don't contact us" requests: kept, so we can honor them.
- Customer records: for as long as your church is a customer, plus whatever period tax and business law requires.
How we protect it
This website is served only over secure (HTTPS) connections. Access to our email and accounts is limited to the people who run Open Door Church Sites, and we use established providers. No system is perfectly secure. If a security breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
This website is for churches and their leaders. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days, and we won't treat you differently for asking.
Changes to this policy
When our services change, this policy changes first. We'll update the date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll say what changed.
